Geoffrey Chism brings more than thirty-five years of construction and commercial litigation and business experience to his role as mediator and arbitrator. Geoffrey Chism’s practice is currently limited to acting as a mediator, arbitrator and project neutral.

 

In addition to his previous litigation and general counsel practice, he:

  • Was in-house General Counsel to a large heavy, highway and utility contractor
  • Was President of a construction company responsible for engineering and construction of a $100,000,000 "green, run-of-the river" hydroelectric project
  • Was a founder and one of the first chairmen of the Construction Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association
  • Taught the Washington State Bar Review Course and was a partner in Bar Review Associates of Washington
  • Is a frequent author and speaker on ADR and construction issues
